For me, the Pro line was easier to play immediately, however the Artist line tone quality has remained superior. Currently, I am using the Artist line - Gold staple and the tone quality is amazing. Sheldon Dearr (Wednesday, 26 March 2008) Rating: if you want to try out the special staple with a great reed, this is the way to go. the S staple has a great sound, and the brass helps thicken the tone. if you want clearer and darker, you want to try the Gold S staple instead. all the reeds on the artist reeds are equally amazing, the staple is just a matter of what you need to add to your sound as a player. |
